There are two reasons for this decision, one practical, one moral: 1. Practical consideration. The wicked ruler of the American empire has proved himself to be exceedingly reckless in his own personal life and in his conduct of foreign policy, eroding the foundation of constitutional government at home and needlessly provoking both allies and enemies abroad. The failure of the impeachment process to remove him from office signals the end of the rule of law domestically; and his attack on the sovereign nation of Yugoslavia, which had not attacked any other country, signals the end of the rule of law internationally. It is inevitable that a nation such as Iraq, Serbia or North Korea will obtain chemical, nuclear or biological weapons and the ability to deliver them to U.S. soil -- to say nothing of Russia and China, which already have formidable nuclear arsenals. If the United States continues its present policy of military aggression, it is likely that some such country will eventually retaliate; indeed, it is remarkable that they have not already done so. A large-scale nuclear war could potentially destroy much of North America and Europe. Therefore, a prudent concern for the preservation of my life suggests that I relocate to a country which does not have aspirations to be a world-ruling empire and does not invite attack against itself by aggressing militarily against other nations. 2. Moral consideration. The legal, political, social, cultural and moral corruption of the United States cannot be blamed solely on its government and its political rulers. This country has become what it is because that is what its people want. A majority of Americans approve of abortion, approve of fetal tissue research, approve of the unconstitutional aggression against Yugoslavia, and approve of the verdict that left the President in office after committing many felonies. Divine judgment will come surely and swiftly on this violent and godless people. I no longer want my tax money to fund this government's war machine and its unprovoked attacks on innocent and peaceful people. It is imperative to act quickly to strangle the monster by cutting off the blood supply to its head before it does further damage. The only way to avoid funding this evil empire (other than illegal tax evasion) is to move my earnings capacity out of the country. Therefore, the next war by the United States will be waged without my economic support.
